Hailing from Slidell, Louisiana, Chef JayB's southern upbringing, combined with his military childhood and own time in the service, laid the groundwork for what is now known as Prolific Creole. A live fire artisanal culinary company focused on creativity, connection, and growth.
His travels contribute greatly to his love and experience in the culinary world. After 6 years of service in the USAF, he now resides in Austin, Texas. An Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts graduate, and 2x Michelin recognized cook, he's elevating traditional Texas BBQ by way of Creole and New Mexican flavors.
